The accommodation was clean and comfortable with everything... read more you need to survive (dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, garden space etc) and we loved the extra features like the fairy lights in the conservatory ceiling. It would also have been perfect for a longer family holiday. We found it really peaceful having the ponies and peacocks wandering around us outside and our 2 year old found the riding lessons next door very interesting as he had not seen anything like the before. It was nice seeing all the animals and my 6 year old cousin really enjoyed seeing the horses. I would say it’s not big enough for more than 2 adults and 2 children, there were 4 adults and 1 child on the second night and there wasn’t enough room for us all. I found it also quite expensive, paying nearly £300 for 2 nights for the size of the place. It was strange too how there were a lot of threat of ‘fines’ for different things, we were happy to strip the beds and leave on time if the book had asked nicely rather than threatening to fine, especially £5 per person. However it was a nice location near our Nan and we did enjoy our stay.

The stay was peaceful, surrounded by nature and access to lovely walks, the Village and the local park directly from the yard.

Weather was awful when we arrived but the lodge was warm & cosy and was kitted out with everything... read more we could need, including towels, tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, dog bowls etc. Great hosts - friendly, helpful and responsive. Lodge is on side of driveway and next to riding school area so there is some noise when lessons/ an event is on as when we were staying, but not unsociable hours. Very muddy around lodge due to very wet weather but conservatory area worked well to leave wet coats, shoes (and dogs!) in before entering main lodge. Nice, relaxed feel and great value for money. Thanks for having us.

Unfortunately we were there for less than 24 hours due to a factory directly behind the property that in the last few weeks had started running 24 hours a day and there was a constant rumbling sound along with some crashes and lorry noise making sleep very difficult. We felt that we should have been informed of this as our host was aware a few weeks prior to our stay. Our complaint was dealt with swiftly and we were offered a refund to leave but due to short notice could not find alternative accommodation. We asked for a reduction due to this significant issue with the noise but again were only offered a refund to leave by 5 pm that day. We felt we had no choice and left and missed out on a week of our annual holiday. A holiday is far more than the money you pay for it.
If you are prepared to have the factory noise then this is a great mobile home in a good location at a reasonable price but be aware of the issue and the fact it is all day and night.

  Stay away for my son's 18th, the hosts were friendly along with the horses and peacocks, we took our 2 rescue dogs for the trip and they enjoyed sniffing around... read more the different scents. Apart from arriving and the temperature was zero degrees, once the log burner was flowing it didn't take too long to warm up.
It was very cozy, nice to chill out, relax, and watch all the horses out of the window come and go doing the riding lessons. We made the most of a wet and very windy stay during the storm.

  Had a nice stay, spacious accommodation in a mobile house, very clean, providers responsive.

  Nice place to visit! The home has everything you need. Great value for money and very cool to be on a farm between horses. My daughter especially loved that!

Upsides- interesting place,esp if you like horses; handy for walks into Williton and the station; great for getting to... read more the coast and places like Minehead, etc. Williton has good range of shops and eating out options; a plus for me is the woodburner. Downside- there is some machinery noise (to be expected in a busy equestrian centre) and also noise from the factory next door. But the fact that I return and would happily return again says all you need to know.
